Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply to studio sessions, inductions and events.
Last updated: 16 October 2026
1. About These Terms
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made with The Blueprint Canine Services, including hourly studio sessions, inductions, whole-studio hire, trainer-led workshops, events and any other services we provide.
These terms should be read together with our Cancellation & Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy, both of which form part of these terms and are available on our website.
By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Caroline Levitt, trading as The Blueprint Canine Services. "You" and "your" mean the person making the booking and, where relevant, anyone attending with them.
2. Who We Are
The Blueprint Canine Services is a trading name of Caroline Levitt, a sole trader.
Business Name: The Blueprint Canine Services
Website: theblueprintcanineservices.co.uk
Email: hello@theblueprintcanineservices.co.uk
Business Address: The Blueprint Studio, Unit 9b, BizSpace Business Park, Thornes Mill, Denby Dale Road, Wakefield, WF2 7AZ
3. Making a Booking
- All bookings are made through our online booking system.
- Your booking is confirmed when you receive a booking confirmation by email. A contract between you and us is formed at that point.
- You must be aged 18 or over to make a booking.
- Please check your booking details carefully and tell us straight away if anything is incorrect.
- Each booking covers the date, time, number of handlers and number of dogs stated at the time of booking. Any additional dogs or attendees must be agreed with us in advance.
- We may decline a booking at our discretion. If we decline a booking after payment has been taken, we will refund the full amount paid.
4. Inductions
- All new clients must complete a Blueprint induction before booking a standard studio session.
- The induction covers the safe use of the studio and its equipment, and our studio rules.
- We may require any additional handler to complete an induction before using the equipment.
- If a studio session is booked before an induction has been completed, we may convert it to an induction where availability allows, or cancel it and refund the amount paid.
5. Prices and Payment
- Prices are as shown on our website or booking system at the time of booking.
- Hourly studio sessions, inductions and whole-studio hire must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- Trainer-led workshops and events may be paid in full at the time of booking or, where offered, secured with a deposit. The deposit amount, the remaining balance and the date the balance is due will be stated at the time of booking.
- If the balance for a workshop or event is not paid by the due date, we may release your place. Our Cancellation & Refund Policy will then apply as if you had cancelled.
- Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider.
- Packages and gift vouchers, where offered, are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase, are non-transferable unless stated otherwise and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- The 6-Pack (6 studio sessions for the price of 5) is valid for 3 months from the date of purchase. Each session covers up to 3 dogs, and additional dogs cannot be added to 6-Pack sessions. Any sessions not used within 3 months of purchase expire.
6. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds
Cancellations, rescheduling, missed appointments, late arrivals and refunds are covered by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
If you arrive late, your session will normally end at the original booked time so that the next booking is not affected.
7. Your Dog
By making a booking, you confirm that every dog you bring:
- is in good health and has not shown signs of any infectious or contagious illness, including kennel cough, in the 7 days before your booking;
- is treated regularly for fleas, ticks and worms; and
- is fit to take part in physical activity. If you are unsure, please seek advice from your vet before booking.
You must tell us before your booking about any health condition, injury, medication or behaviour, including reactivity or aggression towards people or other dogs, that may affect your dog’s participation or the safety of others.
Female dogs in season are covered in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Please tell us in advance if your dog will be in season at the time of your booking.
We may refuse entry to any dog that appears unwell on arrival.
8. Supervision and Control
- You are responsible for your dog at all times while on our premises, including the car park and shared areas of BizSpace Business Park.
- Dogs must be kept on a lead and muzzled where required by law, outside the studio, including in the car park and shared areas of the business park.
- Dogs must never be left unattended in the studio.
- You must clean up after your dog immediately and tell us about any accident inside the studio so that it can be cleaned and disinfected.
- Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times and must not use the equipment unless agreed with us in advance.
- You must follow any reasonable instructions given by us or our trainers, and any rules of BizSpace Business Park.
9. Studio Rules and Equipment
- Use the equipment only in the way shown at your induction and in line with any guidance provided.
- Choose equipment and activities that suit your dog’s age, size, fitness and experience.
- Check equipment before use. If you notice any damage or fault, stop using it and tell us straight away.
- Return equipment to its proper place and leave the studio clean and tidy at the end of your session.
- Smoking and vaping are not permitted in the studio.
- Please leave the studio promptly at the end of your booked time.
You are responsible for any damage to the studio, its equipment or its contents caused by you, your dog or anyone attending with you, other than fair wear and tear. We may charge the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.
10. Whole-Studio Hire and Canine Professionals
If you hire the whole studio to work with your own clients, or to run classes, assessments or workshops:
- you are responsible for your clients, their dogs and anyone else you bring onto the premises, and for making sure they follow these terms and our studio rules;
- you must hold appropriate public liability insurance and, where relevant, professional indemnity insurance, and provide evidence of cover on request;
- you are responsible for obtaining any health, behavioural and consent information you need from your own clients (unless otherwise agreed); and
- the number of people and dogs attending must not exceed the number agreed with us.
Where you book in the course of a business, the consumer protections that apply to private individuals do not apply to that booking, and section 14 applies to you.
11. Trainer-Led Workshops and Events
- The content, timings and trainers for each workshop or event are as described at the time of booking.
- We may make reasonable changes to the programme. If we need to make a significant change, such as a change of trainer or date, we will tell you as soon as possible and you may cancel and receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
- Audit or spectator places do not include taking part with a dog unless this is stated at the time of booking.
- You may not film, record or reproduce workshop content without the permission of both us and the trainer.
- Views and methods shared by guest trainers are their own.
12. Photographs, Video and CCTV
We may take photographs or videos during sessions, workshops and events. We will use them in line with our Privacy Policy, and where consent is required we will ask for it before using identifiable images of you or your dog for promotional purposes.
Please ask before photographing or filming other clients or their dogs.
For the safety and security of our clients, dogs, visitors and premises, CCTV operates within designated areas of The Blueprint Studio.
Footage may be reviewed where necessary in connection with safety incidents, accidents, damage to property or security concerns.
All CCTV recordings are handled securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which provides further information about how footage is used, stored and retained.
13. Health, Safety and Risk
- Physical activity with dogs carries some risk of injury to both dogs and people. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable for you and your dog.
- You must stop an activity if you or your dog shows any sign of discomfort, fatigue or injury.
- Any advice we give is general training and conditioning guidance. It is not veterinary advice and does not replace advice from your vet.
- Please report any accident or injury to us before you leave the premises.
- We strongly recommend that you hold pet insurance that includes third-party liability cover.
14. Our Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
If we fail to comply with these terms or to provide our services with reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
We are not responsible for injury, loss or damage to the extent that it is caused by:
- the behaviour of your dog or any dog you bring;
- your failure to follow these terms, our studio rules or the instructions of our trainers;
- your failure to tell us about your dog’s health, behaviour or fitness; or
- misuse of the equipment.
Personal belongings and vehicles are left at your own risk.
Where you book in the course of a business, we will not be liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business or opportunity, and our total liability to you in connection with a booking will not exceed the price paid for that booking.
We are not responsible for any delay or failure to provide our services caused by events outside our reasonable control. Where this happens, our Cancellation & Refund Policy will apply.
15. Your Liability
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for any injury, loss or damage caused by your dog, or by the dogs of your clients where you hire the studio, to any person, dog or property.
16. Refusing Entry or Ending a Session
We may refuse entry or end a session, workshop or event early where:
- a dog appears unwell or unfit to take part;
- a dog’s behaviour puts people, other dogs or property at risk;
- there is a serious or repeated breach of these terms or our studio rules;
- anyone behaves in an abusive or threatening way towards us, our trainers or other clients; or
- anyone appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Any refund will be assessed in line with our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
17. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us at hello@theblueprintcanineservices.co.uk with details of your booking and your concern. We will aim to respond promptly and to resolve the matter fairly.
18. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, booking procedures or legal requirements. The latest version will be published on our website.
The terms in force at the time you make a booking will apply to that booking.
20. General
- If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply.
- These terms are between you and us. No other person has any right to enforce them.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
